What is the Wapro Mag integration module?
The Wapro Mag integration module for OpenMES (formerly known as WF-Mag) is a dedicated connector that links your manufacturing execution system with Asseco Wapro Mag — a leading Polish ERP platform for trade, warehouse management, and financial operations. The module creates a seamless, bidirectional data flow between your shop floor and your back office, so production data, orders, inventory, and documents stay perfectly synchronized without manual intervention.
This is a paid module — pricing depends on the scope of integration, number of warehouses, and level of customization required. Contact us for an individual quote.
Why integrate OpenMES with Wapro Mag?
Companies that run production on OpenMES and manage sales, purchasing, and warehousing in Wapro Mag often hit the same bottleneck: information silos. Production managers don’t see incoming sales orders in real time. Warehouse staff manually reconcile what was produced versus what the ERP thinks is in stock. Invoices and warehouse documents are created by hand, doubling the administrative workload. The OpenMES–Wapro Mag integration eliminates these gaps by creating a unified data pipeline from order intake through production to dispatch and invoicing.
- Automatic production order generation — sales orders placed in Wapro Mag trigger production orders in OpenMES instantly
- Real-time stock synchronization — raw material consumption and finished goods output update Wapro Mag warehouse levels as they happen
- Bidirectional product catalog sync — SKUs, names, EAN codes, prices, and units of measure stay consistent across both systems
- Automated warehouse documents — PZ, WZ, RW, PW documents are generated in Wapro Mag directly from production events
- Invoice automation — completed production orders can trigger invoice generation in Wapro Mag, eliminating manual document creation
- Full production-to-ERP traceability — every batch, lot, and production event links back to corresponding Wapro Mag documents for audit and compliance
How the integration works
The module connects to Wapro Mag through its database-level API and SDK, using Asseco’s supported integration methods. This provides a reliable, maintainable connection that is compatible with Wapro Mag updates. Synchronization runs on configurable schedules and event-based triggers — you decide what data flows, in which direction, and how often.
Order flow: from sales to production and back
When a customer order lands in Wapro Mag, the integration module picks it up and creates a matching production order in OpenMES with all necessary details: product specification, quantity, required delivery date, and customer reference. As production progresses, status updates (started, in progress, quality check, completed) flow back to Wapro Mag in real time, giving sales and logistics teams full visibility into fulfillment timelines — without a single phone call to the production floor.
Product and recipe (BOM) synchronization
The product master data stays in sync between both platforms. When you update a product name, price, unit of measure, or EAN code in either system, the change propagates automatically. Bills of Materials and production recipes defined in OpenMES map to Wapro Mag goods and components, enabling accurate cost calculation and margin analysis that accounts for actual material consumption — not just planned values.
Live inventory management
Every time an operator in OpenMES reports material usage — scanning a barcode, confirming a production step, or closing a batch — the corresponding raw material stock in Wapro Mag decreases immediately. Finished goods that pass quality control are automatically booked into the designated Wapro Mag warehouse. This real-time mirror eliminates end-of-shift reconciliation, prevents overselling, and gives purchasing teams accurate data for reorder decisions.
Warehouse document automation
The module auto-generates standard Polish warehouse documents inside Wapro Mag based on what actually happens in production:
- PZ (Przyjęcie Zewnętrzne) — receipt of finished goods from production into warehouse
- WZ (Wydanie Zewnętrzne) — goods issued for shipment to customers
- RW (Rozchód Wewnętrzny) — internal consumption of raw materials and components
- PW (Przyjęcie Wewnętrzne) — internal receipt of semi-finished products between production stages
- Invoices — generated automatically when production orders are completed and shipped
Configuration and deployment
Integration setup is handled through the OpenMES admin panel. You configure the Wapro Mag database connection (server, database name, credentials), map your OpenMES warehouses and production lines to Wapro Mag stock locations, set synchronization intervals, and choose which document types to auto-generate. The entire process is guided step by step — no custom coding required. For complex multi-warehouse or multi-company setups, our team provides hands-on deployment support.
Technical requirements
- Wapro Mag (WF-Mag) — current supported version with database access enabled
- Network connectivity between the OpenMES server and the Wapro Mag SQL Server database
- OpenMES (compatible version confirmed during consultation)
- SQL Server access credentials with appropriate read/write permissions
Who should use this module?
The Wapro Mag integration is built for Polish manufacturers and production companies that already rely on Wapro Mag (WF-Mag) as their core ERP and want to layer in a modern MES without disrupting established workflows. It’s particularly valuable if you:
- Run production and sales/warehousing in separate systems and waste hours on manual data transfer
- Need real-time inventory visibility that spans both the production floor and the ERP warehouse
- Want to stop creating warehouse documents (PZ, WZ, RW, PW) by hand
- Need production traceability that connects directly to ERP documents for regulatory compliance or customer audits
- Are scaling production volume and can no longer afford the error rate of manual processes
