OpenMES is a full-featured Manufacturing Execution System designed for factories that need to track production in real time, enforce quality standards, and connect their machines to a digital backbone. Every installation — Community or Enterprise — ships with the same core: real-time production monitoring with automatic OEE calculation, drag-and-drop Gantt scheduling, complete LOT and serial number traceability, IoT and SCADA integration via OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus, inline quality control with SPC charts, warehouse and inventory management with barcode and RFID support, and a REST API that lets you connect ERP, CMMS, LIMS, or any other system in your stack.

The platform is built on open-source code that you can read, audit, and modify. There are no black boxes, no vendor lock-in, and no per-user licensing games. Community users get the full MES experience at zero cost. Enterprise customers get everything in Community plus the advanced modules, dedicated support, and professional services described below.

From First Call to Go-Live

Every enterprise deployment follows a structured three-phase process. We start with a discovery call where we map your production workflows, existing systems, and compliance requirements. You receive a clear implementation roadmap with timeline, scope, and deployment options — on-premise with Docker or Kubernetes, managed cloud, or hybrid. In the second phase, we deploy OpenMES on your infrastructure, connect your machines via OPC UA and MQTT, integrate your ERP system, and build any custom modules your process requires. In the third phase, your team goes through structured training — operators, supervisors, and IT staff each get role-specific workshops, on-site or remote. Once the system goes live, dedicated SLA support kicks in. As you grow and add production lines, new sites, or new modules, the platform scales without rearchitecting.
