What is the Comarch ERP Optima integration module?
The Comarch ERP Optima integration module for OpenMES connects your manufacturing execution system with Comarch ERP Optima – one of the most widely used ERP platforms in Poland, trusted by thousands of manufacturing companies. The module creates a seamless data flow between Optima’s trade, warehouse, and manufacturing modules and OpenMES’s real-time shop floor tracking, eliminating manual document creation and keeping stock levels accurate.
This is a paid module – pricing depends on the number of Optima modules integrated, database count, and customization scope. Contact us for a quote.
Why integrate OpenMES with Comarch ERP Optima?
Comarch ERP Optima excels at trade document management, accounting, warehouse operations, and HR/payroll. Its manufacturing module (Optima Produkcja) handles basic production planning and BOM management. But for companies running real production – with machines, operators, and quality requirements – Optima alone cannot provide real-time cycle tracking, OEE measurement, or SPC analysis.
OpenMES captures production data at machine speed and translates it into the warehouse documents and production reports that Optima needs: PZ (goods receipt), WZ (goods issue), RW (internal consumption), PW (internal production receipt), and MM (inter-warehouse transfer). All generated automatically based on actual production events.
How the integration works
The module communicates with Comarch ERP Optima via the Comarch API (SOAP/REST web services) available in Optima Cloud (Comarch ERP XT) or through direct database integration for on-premise installations running on MS SQL Server. Both connectivity paths support real-time and batch synchronization modes.
Key data flows
- Production Orders – Production orders (zlecenia produkcyjne) created in Optima are received by OpenMES. On completion, OpenMES generates the appropriate warehouse documents (PW for finished goods, RW for consumed materials) back in Optima.
- Warehouse Documents – PZ, WZ, RW, PW, and MM documents are created automatically based on production events, with correct document series, numbering, and warehouse assignments.
- Product Catalog – Items (towary), BOMs (receptury), and product attributes are synchronized so OpenMES always works with current product definitions.
- Inventory – Stock levels in Optima warehouses are visible in OpenMES for material availability checks. Production consumption and output update Optima stock in real time.
- Contractors – Customer and supplier data relevant to production orders (e.g., customer-specific specs) are synchronized for traceability.
Supported versions
The module supports Comarch ERP Optima 2024+ with the Handel (Trade) and Magazyn (Warehouse) modules. Optima Produkcja (Manufacturing) integration is optional. Comarch ERP XT (cloud) is supported via API. Comarch ERP XL uses a different integration path – contact us for details.
